Make it yours
Ask about breakfasts or a lunch at home, arranged around your plans rather than a restaurant reservation.
Explore a braai menu with your group’s preferences in mind, subject to the property’s facilities and permission.
A relaxed evening with friends or a special occasion can start with a menu conversation. Share the atmosphere you would like and any additional hosting needs.
A little planning
The meal, the setting and the service should work together. We’ll take your brief to our concierge partner and confirm the practical details for your property and preferred date.
Tell us how many adults and children will be dining, the meal you have in mind and whether it is a relaxed family meal or a special occasion. If guests are visiting your villa, we’ll need to check the property’s visitor and gathering rules.
Share the food you enjoy, any dislikes, dietary requirements and allergies at the start. Menus are discussed for the request, and the chef must confirm what can be accommodated, including any allergy or cross-contact considerations.
Let us know where you are staying so kitchen access, equipment, cooking facilities and dining space can be checked. If you would like waiters, a butler or hosting support, include that in the brief so staffing can be quoted appropriately.
Share your preferred meal time and date. We’ll clarify menu approval, shopping and ingredients, preparation, serving, clearing up, staff time and any equipment or drinks arrangements. The agreed quotation and booking conditions set out what is included.
Before you enquire
Yes. Send us the accommodation details with your request. We’ll need to confirm that a visiting chef is permitted and that the kitchen and dining arrangements suit the proposed meal.
Yes. Our concierge partner’s service offering covers private breakfasts, lunches, dinners and South African braais. The menu, date, facilities and staffing for your request still need to be confirmed.
We’ll ask for a clear quotation. Ingredients and shopping, drinks, preparation, serving, clearing up, equipment and additional staffing should each be confirmed rather than assumed to be included.
Include every dietary requirement and allergy in the initial request. The proposed chef must confirm the menu and any relevant food preparation or cross-contact limitations before you book.
Tell us what you have in mind, including any visiting guests. A chef booking does not give permission for an event; the property’s visitor, noise, gathering and other conditions still apply and must be checked.
Your menu, party size, date, service requirements and property arrangements shape the quote. We’ll seek current options and confirm the total, payment arrangements and cancellation terms before you decide.
Around your stay
Start with the date, the people and an idea of the meal. We’ll help turn it into a practical private dining request, with room for other plans during your stay.
